To read a memoir is to become part of somebody else’s story, to see yourself reflected in their pages. In a special Outsider Memoirs Salon at Brighton’s Theatre Royal, Tracey Thorn joined us to share her latest memoir ‘Another Planet’. We were taken to the scene of her 1970s childhood where ‘life was slow and very little happened, over and over again’ as her diary records. How did she get from there to Everything But The Girl?
