Jack of Fables #33
Written by Matthew Sturges and Bill Willingham; Art by Russ Braun and Jose Marzan Jr.; Cover by Brian Bolland
Part 2 of “The Great Fables Crossover”! This is the opening salvo in what will come to be known around the world as “The Great Fables Crossover” (except for that one issue of FABLES that comes out the previous week that actually starts it, but who gives a crap?). You know, everyone is always saying, “Hey, we want to see Jack get his ass kicked.” And since this is a crossover, there could be all kinds of people who might be kicking Jack’s ass. But it’ll probably only involve the one person you’re thinking would do something like that.
MAJOR SPOILERS POLL OF THE WEEK
Yeah, we’re being a little weird this week. Why would we have a Major Spoilers Poll of the Week about fried chicken? Everyone knows you don’t read comics and eat fried chicken at the same time… duh…
It’s all in good fun, and just might help us in marketing Major Spoilers.
(but really, it’s all about the fun)
So, which is it Major Spoiler Legion? KFC or Popeye’s?
A) KFC
B) Popeye’s

League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
From the Wiki
According to Moore, the initial concept behind the series was initially a “Justice League of Victorian England” but quickly grew into an opportunity to merge all works of fiction into one world. Says Moore: “The planet of the imagination is as old as we are. It has been humanity’s constant companion with all of its fictional locations, like Mount Olympus and the gods, and since we first came down from the trees, basically. It seems very important, otherwise, we wouldn’t have it.”[1] Moore and O’Neill have revealed that they plan to map out many different eras in the League series with Allan Quatermain and Mina Murray being the two constants.
